Amy Cohn


Amelia started her career as a summer intern administrative assistant in a CPA firm in southern California while attending community college. The partners discovered she had a knack for more than scanning documents and offered her a fulltime position as a bookkeeper when the firm merged with a larger firm. Amelia grew and developed as a staff accountant and in 2016, transferred to California State University Channel Islands and moved on to a smaller CPA firm where she worked closely with the CPA, managing clients and preparing and reviewing tax returns. In 2018, she received her B.S. in Business Administration at CSU, Channel Islands and subsequently received her Certificate of Accountancy from UCLA. She then made a move to private industry as a staff accountant before settling into the Rogue Valley and joining KDP in July of 2020. She is currently preparint to sit for the Oregon Certified Public Accounting exams.

Amelia enjoys Crossfit, yoga, cooking, getting outdoors, listening to audiobooks and spending time with her daughter and cat in her spare time. She sits on the board of Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids (PERK), a California non-profit dedicated to empowering parents and supporting the equitable educational rights of all students.
