A native of the Rogue Valley,  Dan Kosmatka graduated from Southern Oregon State College (now Southern Oregon  University) with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. After gaining  extensive experience while working for Deloitte Haskins & Sells, a “Big 8”  accounting firm, in Honolulu, Portland,  and Medford, he purchased its Medford office in 1976. 

Dan specializes in taxation, financial planning, and estate planning. He is a member of  the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Oregon  Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He is also a Registered  Representative of 1st Global Capital Corp., Member FINRA, SIPC, and an  Investment Adviser Representative of 1st Global Advisors, Inc. 

Dan is currently a  member of the Medford Chamber of Commerce, a past Member and past Chairman of the Providence Community Board, Treasurer of the St. Mary’s Endowment Fund, and a  Board Member of the Gordon Elwood Foundation. He was also a past member of governing council of the AICPA; past  President, Vice President, Secretary, and Board Member of the OSCPA, past  President of Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council, and past Officer, Board  Treasurer, and Member of Medford Rotary Club.

Outside the office, Dan enjoys  working out, golfing, and playing racquetball. One of his favorite pastimes is  feeling the rush of the wind as he explores the country by motorcycle. He likes  swimming and snorkeling in the open sea, spending time with friends and family,  and helping his grandchildren in their life adventures.
