  • Bachelors, Post Baccalaureate, or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited University.
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience (or equivalent).
  • CPA, or all parts of the CPA exam passed, CFA, ABV, of CFA
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software programs, with a particular focus on Word and Excel.
  • Experience with buy-side and sell-side due diligence projects, business valuations, and purchase accounting, including purchase price allocations.
  • Proven experience leading teams, preferred.
  •  Experience with Lacerte software and ProSystem Engagement, preferred.

Job Description/Profile 

  • Assist in implementing improvement in client accounting environment
  • Create templates and analysis of client data
  • Assist during budgeting process for non-profit clients
  • Research accounting issues and provide technical accounting guidance
  • Advise client on proper accounting processes and controls for added efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with the monthly close process of various clients

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Two plus years accounting experience preferred
  • Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in use of computers and computer accounting software programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Some travel may be required
