Megan obtained her B.A. in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University in 2005, followed by her Master of Accounting from the University of Oregon in 2006. Following graduation, she joined KPMG (“Big 4” International CPA firm) in Portland, Oregon where she served a variety of multinational publicly-traded clients in the manufacturing, technology, and forest products sectors.

After approximately eight years at KPMG and promotion to Senior Manager, Megan was recruited to Lithia Motors, Inc. Her role as a Senior Director began with completing an overhaul of the Internal Audit & Compliance function, including responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) process and control attestations, leading strategic merger and acquisition due diligence and closing efforts for both buy-and-sell-side asset and stock purchases, and oversight of the corporate governance whistle-blower hotline. Leveraging the rich operational experience gained in Internal Audit, Megan assumed responsibility for the company’s Corporate Finance activities including capital strategy and allocation, FP&A and scenario modeling.  Megan also led the Investor Relations function, including fostering relationships with large institutional investors and over a dozen sell-side analysts from the nation’s top firms. She was also responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management program, and Environmental, Social, and Governance disclosures.
