Shannon is a senior associate with 14 years experience in education governmental accounting and 20+ years in small business accounting. She graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus in Public Accounting. Shannon worked for the Grants Pass School District #7 for 14 years as a staff accountant and accounting supervisor. While there she managed the ledger, prepared and maintained annual budgets, supervised internal controls and departmental staff, assisted staff at all levels with technical guidance regarding budgets and reporting, maintained the district’s grant financial reporting, and was instrumental in training and transitioning from nine separate school accounting systems to a uniform system to ensure accuracy and internal controls.
